Meet Francis Jeffers, an Active Science Promoter. Founder and Past Executive Director of the NSERC award winning Visions of Science Network for Learning (VoSNL), a not-for-profit organization that aims to advance the educational achievements and career aspirations of low-income, marginalized and under-represented youth, particularly those of African Canadian descent, through the promotion of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Visions of Science won the 2011 NSERC National award for Science Promotion in 2011.
Meet Marlène Thélusma Rémy. She’s a teacher for about 16 years at Collège Boréal. Marlène is also a speaker and international host, a singer-songwriter, a researcher, and a writer.
